The Stanberry R-II Schools and Character Strong believe that education should help to create young people who are competent academically and are also compassionate, empathetic, and kind. Our Character, like the muscles in our body, can get stronger with intentional, consistent practice. Collectively, we believe that the best way to make a difference in our school and community is to provide real, accessible ways to exercise our social-emotional skills.
People fundamentally want to BE good, but knowing how to do good can be a challenge. Character Strong helps the people in our school forge meaningful relationships, build a positive community, focus on social-emotional learning, and character development.
The Stanberry R-II School District challenges you to take part in the weekly posted Family Dares with your children. Together, we can teach our children to be the next generation of strong leaders in our community.
