JH Scholar Bowl

Tuesday February 23rd the junior high scholar bowl had a home meet against Worthy County. The lost their first match with a score of 190-360. Hailey Stoll was the top scorer with 100 points, Stephen Henggeler followed with 30 points and Dustin Jensen had 20 points. The team altogether had 40 bonus points. In the second match Stanberry outscored Worth County 310-260. High scorer was again Hailey Stoll with 150 points followed by Dustin Jensen with 40 points and Stephen Henggeler with 30 points. Together the team had 90 bonus points.
On March 1st the team played King City at home. Stanberry won both matches. In the first match the end score was 260-130. Hailey Stoll was the high scorer with 130 points, followed by Stephen Henggeler who had 50. The team had 80 bonus points combined. The second match score was 230-200. The high scorer was Hailey Stoll who had 160 points and Stephen Henggeler followed with 40. Jazrin McCrery added 10 points and the team combined 20 points.
The last Junior High Scholar bowl meet was Tuesday March 8th at Albany. The team won both matches. In the first match the end score was 290-210. Hailey Stoll was the high scorer with 150 points and Stephen Henggeler followed with 40. The team had 100 bonus points combined. In the second match Stanberry had an end score of 200 and Albany had 170. The high scorer in this match was Hailey Stoll with 100 points, in second was Jazrin McCrerey who had 30 points. Stephen Henggeler added 10 points to the total. The team combined for 60 bonus points.
Coach Mrs. Addie Hunter said “I am very proud of the kids, they worked had a had a very successful season.”
