Dr. John Davison

Superintendent

I am excited to begin my first year as your Superintendent at Stanberry R-II.  From the day I stepped into this district, I have seen so many positive teaching strategies; parent, teacher, and student interactions; community support; and a genuine concern for all students and families.  Stanberry has an amazing staff who are committed to the motto "Bulldog Pride - School, Community, Family  ." Our teachers provide rigorous and relevant instruction in respectful and safe classrooms as our support staff works diligently to ensure that the vast needs of the district are met.

Our focus will remain on continuous improvement of teaching and learning, school safety, facilities, communication, interaction among all members of the faculty and staff, and allocation of resources.  Our schools must be a place of challenge and support.  Children need to know we care, we believe in them, and we will listen to them.  We believe in our mission statement, "Prepare, Respect, Inspire, and Dedicate ourselves to Educate all as lifelong learners." Working collaboratively as a Stanberry R-II Community, we can meet our children's individual needs.

It is my honor to serve as your superintendent.  My personal goal is to be a superintendent who is approachable and supportive to all students, staff, and families of Stanberry.  I feel truly blessed to be a part of this community.  I look forward to building positive relationships with the goal of seeing that all students succeed to their fullest potential. Thank you for this opportunity.

Mrs. Tammy Graham
Elementary Principal

As Educators and Parents we have a vested interest in the quality of our school and the performance of our students. We feel that each student in the Stanberry R-II System should have the opportunity to develop intellectually, physically, socially and vocationally commensurate with his own developmental ability; thereby producing an individual who is adequately prepared for life and can readily adapt to a dynamic and constantly changing society.

We believe that each child is endowed with his own individual capacities and characteristics, and that our schools, to the best of our abilities, should provide each child with the kind of education best fitted to him as an individual. We know that the needs of children are similar, but not identical, and we try to adapt our program to this knowledge.

We believe that a public school system exist to serve all the needs of the people the best it can. We must make every effort to meet the needs of all students in granting them the fullest possible education experience.

These objectives and goals can be achieved only through meaningful cooperation and communication between the Board of Education, School Administration, Faculty and Parents.

Mrs. Lisa Craig
7-12 Principal

Welcome to Stanberry High School. We pride ourselves on excellence both inside and outside of the classroom. The staff at Stanberry is highly motivated and works hard to make sure that our students are successful. We pride ourselves on academic and extra-curricular successes.

It is my belief that the excellence that Stanberry incurs comes from several aspects. First, having an exceptional staff that supports, motivates and challenges our students. Second, students desire that to excel and are willing to push themselves to succeed. Finally, parents who play an active role in the development of their child and support our district. Collectively, we are all preparing our children for the next phase of their life!

I am blessed to work with such great staff, student and community. #bulldogpride #schoolcommunityfamily
